St Columba Church of Scotland, Glasgow

Welcome to the "Highland Cathedral"

Rev Donald Michael MacInnes

A very warm welcome to Highland Cathedral - website for St Columba Church of Scotland - a church right at the heart of Glasgow's fantastic city centre since 1770.

St Columba offers four distinct styles of service to the Christian community (click here for service times) and we would encourage you to try them out for yourself.

An evolving church, we seek to incorporate modern media with the unchanging gospel of free grace. The great news of who God is and His love for us is as important right now as it ever was. We are seeking to build up a community of ordinary people who are discovering anew what it is to be a Christian and worship God. We have an evangelical ministry, which simply means we are passionate about the message of Jesus, that we try and follow His teachings and want to share that fulfilling message of life and hope with as many people as possible.

We have been broadcastin our sermons on the Internet since 2005. Please feel free to listen to them. The button on the right will take you to our most recent sermons.

Daily Meditations

Daily Inspiration from the Bible

A verse from God's message: May 13 2008

Christ brought us together through his death on the Cross. The Cross got us to embrace, and that was the end of the hostility. Christ came and preached peace to you outsiders and peace to us insiders. He treated us as equals, and so made us equals. Through him we both share the same Spirit and have equal access to the Father.
Ephesians 2: 16-18
